I only ever had it once ...it completely floored me.
Scared me.
I was still big and fit and healthy and never had anything.
I'm lying there in a soaking steaming bed ...with a soaking steaming head
lungs that have almost stopped working and on the radio ...over and and over ...
Saddam can launch his biological and chemical weapons at us within forty five minutes.
Over and over and over ...

In my fevered dying brain I'm thinking ...the bastards got me ...Saddams attacked us ...basket ...kill the basket ...kill him before I die.

My hub, my Son and Me have all got flu! Sad

we feel like shit! surprisingly though, right now, they have it worse than me! Shocked

you know what that means..don't you? Shocked

it means it's going to hit me real hard! Sad

I'm tucked up in bed with my pj's still on! I keep going soooo cold and I've got those weird 'shivery' things going on in my head! Sad

I'm full of snot! Mad

my eyes are burning with the fever and I feel like shit! Sad

besides that my stomach and hands are killing me! Sad

I'm feeling worse today, but then with flu I guess it always gets worse before it gets better? Neutral

I was dreading mine being flu.
Turns out not to be thankfully.
Just part of my general bad health at the moment by the ooks of things.

I've got flu on top of everything else! luckily I have had the pneumonia jab so I don't have to worry too much about that, but then, I've also had the flu jab! Shocked

obviously it didn't work! Mad

I've had pneumonia for a week now! I've been ill in my life but never this ill! Sad

I am lucky/blessed to have an immune system of steel. Working outside and not being around sick folks helps too I am sure. Please get well all who ail.
