The Cumbrian floods.

What a tragedy.
Once in a thousand years they're saying ...which probably means this has never happened before what the fucks going on.
I might be housing an elderly couple from there for the duration ...I'll know sometime early next week.
We have been talking about it all day and I've said yes to the missus ...put our names in.
I hope they like whiskey and weed ...and tom waits of course.

It's going to be a cold and lonely xmas for many people this year.
People who only a few days ago had warm homes ...full larders ...jobs.
They now have no hearth to call their own ...nowhere to put their feet up in comfort so ...please put some money in the pot when your asked to.

The weather is deteriorating yet again.
Howling wind and heavy rain ...thats here.
It's looking grim for the people in Cumbria right now ...more rain and more rain.
If this amount of rain was to fall when the temperatures are cold enough and it came down as snow ...a large part of the country would have come to a standstill by now.
