Policing of forums.

How much and how often should mods be telling people to watch it ...to get back on topic ...to be nice?

It can be stifling. I do understand why it happens though. IMO I think it happens a bit too much sometimes.

I can't stand being 'told off' by another adult! who also happens to be a complete stranger on the internet! If mods or admin don't like something that is said on their forum they have the tools to edit or delete! simple!

Some people are so fucking power crazy when it comes to running forums!

Who better to take the piss out of than Micky, I enjoy it, get him away from his favourite subject and he goes to pieces, he is quite easily the easiest guy to wind up in forumland, anyone that easy to offend has to be paranoid and delusional.

I have had a fair few warnings off Utter this last couple of months.
Utter then banned me and I did desrve it.
I'm new to owning a forum.
What with my warnings on SBS and then seeing on mickys place ...get in line stay on topic etc etc ...I asked an innocent question.
If it wasn't innocent and it did only refer to mickys place ...would I have commited some kind of offence.
I;'m nopw getting shouted at all over again for putting a link up to this place on mickys when I first opened it ...but it was ok for micky to do the same when he opened a forum.
I can't get my head round the response from micky june and dean over this thread.

I had another forum in mind when I responded to this thread God knows why Micky and June think they and their forum are soooooo important that everyone is going to want to talk about it? There is more than one forum FFS!

Even Tytionidy (sp) ...has commented on mickys attitude to me since opening this place.

The thread was sparked by SBS's behaviour toward my ramblings and ravings and seeing mickys mods in action today.
What did I do that was so evil?
Micky comes in here shouting the odds that I'm attacking him ...even worse Lexi gets it in the neck too ...and then he laughs and buggars off seeing his wife in the middle of a steaming row about it.
Yes in that row...I have lost the plot a couple of times and screamed at her but ...I feel it's been manouvered that way and I've fallen for it.
Of course ...the SPA loyals will see me as mr evil which ...sounds like a plan to me.
